Establishing structured dialogue between municipalities and youth

It is a continuation of the efforts of I Dare for Sustainable Development within the area of enabling the “decentralization” process to take an effective place through establishing a structured dialogue between youth and municipalities. This phase of the project targeted six municipalities in three governorates; Balqa, Tafileh, and Ajloun. The project duration was for twelve months during the years of 2015 and 2016, and it was funded by EU through the Ministry of Political and Parliamentarian Affairs.

  • To establish a structured dialogue at the local level between municipalities and youth.
  • To build the institutional capacity of the selected municipalities in establishing structured policy dialogue with their local communities; particularly youth.
  • To engage youth as active citizens in identifying and proposing solutions to their local issues at their municipality level.
